Tim Duncan surpasses 25,000 career points
Spurs power forward Tim Duncan scored his 25,000th career point in the first half of his team's game against the Lakers Friday.
Duncan became just the 19th player in NBA history to cross the 25,000-point threshhold.
He joins Kobe Bryant (fourth in career points), Dirk Nowitzki (ninth), Kevin Garnett (14th) and Paul Pierce (18th) as active players with at least 25,000 points.
