Warriors' Ezeli will play Tuesday for the first time in 17 months
Warriors center Festus Ezeli will play in Tuesday's preseason game against the Los Angeles Clippers at Oracle Arena, according to coach Steve Kerr.
An appearance by Ezeli on his 25th birthday would mark his first competitive game in 17 months after he missed all of last season recovering from knee surgery and was sidelined because of shin inflammation since the summer.
Kerr said Ezeli is feeling no discomfort and that the game represents "the next step" in his recovery, as it will be treated as a 5-on-5 full contract scrimmaging that he had been unable to do during training camp.
