Tony Parker thinks the NBA should shorten preseason
Spurs point guard Tony Parker said on Sunday, he would maintain game lengths but cut down on the eight-game, one-month preseason schedule that has become increasingly obsolete with modern players keeping themselves in top shape pretty much year round.
“The starters are still going to play a lot of minutes,” Parker said. “Nothing will change. I think what (should be changed) is to play four preseason games instead of eight, and those two weeks you can help spread the season. That would be better."
