Faverani gets second surgery, out 6 to 8 weeks
Boston Celtics big man Vitor Faverani underwent surgery on his left knee that will keep him sidelined for 6-8 weeks.
The surgery was performed in Spain today, according to Celtics head coach Brad Stevens.
Stevens said the surgery was to "clean up some inflammation and also to ... evaluate the meniscus to get another look at the meniscus."
Faverani's injury coupled with Boston's roster status, raises some questions and concerns about whether the team will explore parting ways with the second-year big man.
