Clippers not considering Ray Allen

Clippers president and head coach Doc Rivers said Ray Allen was not a candidate to take team's final roster spot with glut of shooting guards already on team.

We still don't know whether or not Ray Allen will call it a career or return for a 19th season, but the Los Angeles Clippers were thought to be one of the teams the free agent sharpshooter might consider.

He obviously has a relationship with Clippers president and head coach Doc Rivers from their time together in Boston, and Los Angeles would give him a chance to compete for a title.
