Texas A&M leading scorer Jones to leave school
Texas A&M forward Jamal Jones has let fans know via Twitter he’s exiting the program.
Jones, who thanked A&M fans and his “former teammates” for their support, announced on the website that he was “on to the next opportunity,” although he did not say exactly what that opportunity was.
The 6-foot-8 Jones, a junior this past season on the 18-16 Aggies, led the squad in scoring with 13.4 points per game, including 16 ppg in Southeastern Conference play.
