Southern Mississippi hires Doc Sadler as new coach
Former Nebraska and UTEP coach Doc Sadler has been hired as the next coach at Southern Mississippi, the school said on Wednesday night.
Sadler spent six years at Nebraska before parting ways with the school two years ago. He spent this past season as an assistant on Fred Hoiberg's staff at Iowa State.
Sadler will replace Donnie Tyndall, who left for Tennessee.
