Eric Gordon to visit doctor to get his left knee examined
New Orleans Pelicans shooting guard Eric Gordon did not accompany the team for Friday night's game against the Utah Jazz, so he could get his ailing left knee examined by his doctor in Los Angeles, according to a source close to the team.
It's not known when Gordon will rejoin the team, but he's not likely to make the trip to Portland on Sunday when the Pelicans play the Trail Blazers.
Gordon has missed eight consecutive games because of tendinitis in his left knee.
