Spurs to sign Damion James to a 10-day contract
Sources close to the situation told ESPN.com that the San Antonio Spurs are in the process of calling Damion James up on a 10-day deal from the Texas Legends.
The Texas native has split this season between the Legends (D-League affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks) and the Bakersfield Jam. James was selected No. 24 overall in the 2010 draft by Atlanta and appeared in 34 games with the Nets in his first three seasons as a pro.
