NC State guard Tyler Lewis to transfer

North Carolina State says guard Tyler Lewis is transferring. Coach Mark Gottfried announced Lewis‘ decision Saturday night.

The 5-foot-11 guard had a team-best 135 assists as a sophomore while making 18 starts - including the final 14 games.

That included an upset of Syracuse in the ACC tournament quarterfinals and two games in the NCAA tournament.
