Rockets center Greg Smith undergoes knee surgery

Rockets center Greg Smith underwent an exploratory arthroscopic knee surgery on Wednesday to repair a medical meniscus tear and to examine ligament structures in his right knee, the team announced Wednesday.

Smith is out indefinitely and will likely miss the rest of the season.
