Heat trade Roger Mason Jr. to Kings for pick, cash
The Miami Heat announced today that they have traded guard Roger Mason Jr. to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for a future conditional 2015 second-round pick and cash.
Mason Jr. appeared in 25 games for the Heat this season and averaged 3.0 points and 10.4 minutes while shooting 37.3 percent from the field. He was originally signed as a free agent by Miami on September 27, 2013.
The move allowed Miami to open up another roster spot, while the Kings got an undisclosed amount of money.
