Wizards interested in Knicks guard Udrih
The Washington Wizards will most likely trade for a backup point guard, according to a tweet Tuesday from ESPN’s Marc Stein, and the player to fill that void behind All-Star John Wall could be disgruntled New York Knicks guard Beno Udrih.
According to Stein, the 31-year-old two-time NBA champion is high on Washington’s list of players it would like to land before the league’s Feb. 20 trade deadline.
In January, it was reported that Udrih wanted out of New York, nearly six months after signing with the team as a free agent.
