Hawks sign Cartier Martin to replace James Nunnally
The Hawks signed forward Cartier Martin to a 10-day contract Saturday. The move comes after the team did not sign forward James Nunnally for the remainder of the season after his second 10-day contract expired Saturday.
Martin played 25 games with the Hawks to start the season, but he was waived on Jan. 7 before having to guarantee his $884,293 salary. He averaged 6.6 points and 2.0 rebounds in his first stint with Hawks.
Following his release, Martin played six games with the Bulls after signing a pair of 10-day contracts.
