Wichita State beats Loyola, moves to 22-0
Cleanthony Early scored 12 of his 23 points in the second half to lead Wichita State (22-0, 9-0) to a 57-45 victory over Loyola of Chicago on Tuesday night.
No other Shocker scored more than seven points, and the rest of the team was a combined 3 of 19 (15.7 percent) from the field in the second half.
Freshman Milton Doyle scored 14 of his 16 points in the second half for Loyola (8-13, 3-6). The Ramblers trailed 22-16 with 5:35 to play in the first half before Wichita State went on a 14-0 run.
