Johnson, Nets send Knicks to fourth straight loss
Losing 103-80 on Martin Luther King Day to the Brooklyn Nets is bad enough for Mike Woodson, and certainly won’t sit well with James Dolan.
Brooklyn effectively spread the floor and jumped to a 52-38 lead at halftime. The Knicks, who shot just 33.8% for the game, never got closer than eight after intermission.
Joe Johnson scored 20 of his 25 points in the first half for the Nets, who have won seven of their last eight games.
The Knicks, meanwhile, got 26 points from Carmelo Anthony and 15 more from J.R. Smith, but the remaining four starters totaled just 20 points on 6-for-24 combined shooting.
