Knicks say Amar’e Stoudemire, Kenyon Martin will miss 2 weeks
They both opened the season with minutes restrictions aimed at keeping them healthy for the long haul with the Knicks, but Amar’e Stoudemire and Kenyon Martin now will be sidelined for at least the next two weeks.
The two veteran forwards both sustained ankle injuries during Thursday’s blowout loss in Indiana. Stoudemire suffered what an MRI revealed was a sprained left ankle and a bone bruise, while Martin’s MRI also showed a sprain and tendinitis in the ankle that has hampered him since late last season.
