Spurs assign Aron Baynes, Nando De Colo to D-League
The Austin Toros open their season this afternoon at 3 p.m., the first opportunity for the Spurs to begin shuttling their end-of-bench players up to the capital for extra work in the D-League.
Nando De Colo and Aron Baynes get the first nod with their temporary assignment. Both are playing sparingly in their second season with the Spurs. De Colo is averaging 2.7 points and 1.7 assists in six appearances, while Baynes is averaging 1.5 points and 2.2 rebounds in 10 games.
