Oakland suspends 2 for violating conduct standards
Oakland (Mich.) University basketball players Duke Mondy and Dante Williams have been suspended indefinitely by coach Greg Kampe for violating team conduct standards in Los Angeles during a road trip.
Mondy, 23, and Williams, 20, were arrested early Thursday morning after a woman made allegations of sexual assault at a hotel, according to Culver City police. The players remained in jail until Friday morning, according to Kampe.
Shiara Davila-Morales, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office, told the Free Press on Friday there will be no charges filed.
