Danny Granger still not set to return to court
Danny Granger, who has not played this season because of a calf strain, missed Friday night’s game against Milwaukee and won’t play tonight at Chicago. Pacers coach Frank Vogel sounded like he wasn’t exactly sure when Granger might return.
“We know he’s going to be out for a while with his calf,” Vogel said. “We want to get him back as soon as possible, but we’re not going to rush it. There’s no need to rush it.”
There was some hope he would return to active duty when he took part in a series of three-on-three drills. But the Pacers held him out of practice the rest of the week because of soreness. Granger also was dealing with an upper respiratory infection Thursday.
