Brendan Malone resigns as Kings lead assistant coach
The Kings announced assistant coach Brendan Malone has resigned, effective immediately. Malone, is the father of head coach Michael Malone.
"As a veteran of 27 seasons in the NBA coaching ranks, Brendan brought a wealth of experience and knowledge to our organization, and we were all fortunate to have had an opportunity to work with him," said Kings General Manager Pete D'Alessandro said in a statement.
Chris Jent is Michael Malone's lead assistant. Corliss Williamson and Micah Nori are the other coaches. Dee Brown and Ryan Bowen serve assistant coach/player development roles.
