Michigan State's Dawson has fractured wrist

Call it bad-sounding news that could have been worse for Michigan State senior forward Branden Dawson, who has a fractured wrist, but may only have to miss two games.

Dawson hurt the left (non-shooting) wrist on a hard spill in Wednesday's 66-46 win over Eastern Michigan. MSU coach Tom Izzo said after the game X-rays indicated a sprain and no break, but Dawson had further tests Thursday.

MSU is calling it a "non-displaced fracture" and said in a release that Dawson will get further evaluation after the holiday break.
