The Golden State Warriors have assigned center Festus Ezeli to the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League, the team announced Wednesday. Additionally, the team has recalled Ognjen Kuzmic from his D-League assignment.
Ezeli has missed Golden State’s last 16 games (since December 25) due to a left ankle sprain. The 6’11” center has appeared in 21 games (seven starts) this season, averaging 4.3 points and 3.0 rebounds in 11.7 minutes per contest.
