Suns sign Barron, Jackson, Prather, Wilson

The Phoenix Suns today announced they have signed veteran center Earl Barron and rookies guard Joe Jackson,guard/forward Casey Prather and forward Jamil Wilson, bringing the club’s roster to 18 players.

Barron, who played with the Suns during the 2010-11 season, is a seven-year NBA veteran who last played with New York in the 2012-13 season.

Jackson had a standout four-year career at the University of Memphis where he averaged 12.1 points, 4.1 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.36 steals in 139 games 2010-14.

Prather culminated a four-year career at the University of Florida by leading the team with a scoring average of 12.8 points during the 2013-14 season.

Wilson played three seasons at Marquette University, averaging career-highs of 11.7 points and 5.9 rebounds as a senior in 2013-14.
