The 76ers made their first roster mover of the regular season Monday, waiving injured power forward Malcolm Thomas and calling up Drew Gordon from the Delaware 87ers.
Gordon appeared in six preseason games with the Sixers. The power forward averaged 7.8 points and 4.2 rebounds in 15.9 minutes per game. Gordon is the older brother of Orlando Magic rookie, Aaron Gordon.
Meanwhile, Thomas had been playing with fluid on his left knee for the last two weeks. He had an MRI on Tuesday, and didn't travel with the team for Sunday's against the Toronto Raptors in Canada.
