The Detroit Pistons announced today that guard Brandon Jennings underwent successful surgery to repair a ruptured left Achilles tendon.
After joint consultations between Dr. Stephen Lemos, team orthopedist for the Detroit Pistons, and Dr. Martin O’Malley, the operating physician, the surgical procedure was implemented and executed at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
No timetable is being placed on Jennings’ return at this time.
