The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that the team has waived guard Dionte Christmas.
Christmas, 6-5, 205, appeared in 31 games last season for the Phoenix Suns, averaging 2.3 points and 1.8 rebounds. The Temple product appeared in one preseason game for New Orleans (10/16 vs. OKC) registering two assists and one steal in four minutes.
New Orleans’ roster now stands at 17.
