The Indiana Pacers announced Sunday that center Ian Mahinmi will be out six to eight weeks with a torn left plantar fascia.
He sustained the injury in the first half of Friday night’s game at Sacramento.
He stepped in to fill the big man role when starting center Roy Hibbert was out with an ankle injury and has averaged 4.9 points and 5.8 rebounds per game this season.
