Nets sign Earl Clark to 10-day contract

The Nets on Friday announced the signing of former Louisville star forward Earl Clark to a 10-day contract.

The Nets lost Thaddeus Young to a hyperextended left knee suffered Wednesday night in the team’s 91-88 win at the Charlotte Hornets. Young will not play in Friday night’s game against the Cleveland Cavs at Barclays Center and is doubtful for Sunday afternoon’s home game against the Lakers.

Clark, 25, gives the Nets some insurance at the power forward position. He has played for the Suns, Magic, Lakers, Cavs and Knicks. He’s also played for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the D-League and most recently, the Shandog Lions in China.
