LeBron James, Damian Lillard named Players of the Week

The Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James and the Portland Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard today were named NBA Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played Monday, Nov. 10, through Sunday, Nov. 16.

James helped the Cavaliers to a 3-0 week, which included wins over the New Orleans Pelicans and Atlanta Hawks, behind a league-leading 35.0 points. James placed third in the Eastern Conference in assists at 7.7 apg, eighth in field goal percentage at .594, eighth in minutes at 36.7 mpg and added 7.0 rebounds.

Lillard led the Trail Blazers to a 3-0 week behind averages of 28.0 points (second in the conference) and 8.7 assists (third in the conference). He also placed fifth in the conference in three-point percentage at .700 (14-of-20).

Other nominees for the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week were Atlanta's Paul Millsap, Cleveland's Kyrie Irving, Dallas' Monta Ellis, Houston's James Harden, Indiana's A.J. Price, Los Angeles Clippers' Chris Paul, Memphis' Mike Conley, New Orleans' Anthony Davis and Utah's Gordon Hayward.
