The infection in Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard’s right eye has spread to his left eye and he will be held out of Saturday’s pre-season game against the Miami Heat at AT&T Center.
The 23-year-old starter at small forward likely will miss the remainder of the pre-season schedule and the regular season opener against the Dallas Mavericks would appear to be up in the air, according to a timetable for his recovery set forth by Coach Gregg Popovich.
