Grizzlies' Tony Allen suspended one game for kick

Memphis Grizzlies guard Tony Allen has been suspended one game without pay for kicking Chris Paul in the face on Monday, the NBA announced in a press release.

Allen was ejected with 1:51 left in the first quarter of Memphis' 106-102 win over the Clippers on Monday night in Los Angeles. Afterwards, he tweeted that the kick was accidental.

Allen apologized to fans again on Tuesday morning for his ejection. He will serve his suspension on Wednesday when the Grizzlies play the Golden State Warriors.
