Griffin, CP3 pour in 69 for Ballmer showcase

New Los Angeles Clippers owner Steve Ballmer attended his first home game Wednesday night at Staples Center, and the Clippers broke out of their preseason funk with a 108-105 victory over Phoenix.

Blake Griffin scored 35 points and Chris Paul added 34. Eric Bledsoe led Phoenix with 27 points and Gerald Green added 23.

Lakers 94 Trail Blazers 86

Julius Randle scored 11 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter, and Jeremy Lin added 13 points in the Lakers' 94-86 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Wayne Ellington and Wesley Johnson scored 11 points apiece for the Lakers (3-4), who played a solid defensive game and surged in the fourth quarter despite 18 turnovers.

C.J. McCollum scored 17 points and Meyers Leonard added 13 for the Trail Blazers (3-3), who rested four starters as their three-game winning streak ended.

Spurs 107 Hawks 117

Jeff Teague scored 21 points and the Atlanta Hawks closed their preseason schedule with a resounding 117-107 victory over the defending champion San Antonio Spurs.

Mike Scott added 19 points while Kyle Korver had 18 for Atlanta (4-3), which shot 52 percent from the field.

Tony Parker had 17 points and seven assists, Cory Joseph added 14 points and Boris Diaw had 12 points for San Antonio (2-4).

Bucks 91 Timberwolves 110

Nikola Pekovic had a highly effective effort, finishing in 15 points and 13 rebounds in a little more than 19 minutes in Minnesota's 110-91 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Shabazz Muhammad had 19 points and Chase Budinger 15 for the Timberwolves, who started the game on a 12-1 run and never trailed.

Rookie Jabari Parker led Milwaukee with 18 points, including 12 in the second quarter.
