Ellis stars again; buzzer-beater boosts Mavs

Monta Ellis hit a wild, fall-away jumper at the buzzer, lifting the Dallas Mavericks over the Milwaukee Bucks 107-105 on Wednesday night.

Ellis followed up a 38-point effort against the Bulls by scoring 23 against Milwaukee. He had eight in the final two minutes. The Mavericks won their fifth in a row while resting Dirk Nowitzki because of a sore back. Tyson Chandler scored 18 points and added 20 rebounds for the Mavericks.

Brandon Knight scored 25 points and Khris Middleton added 21 for the Bucks in their third straight loss.

Raptors 123 Jazz 104

Kyle Lowry scored a season-high 39 points on 13-of-22 shooting to help the Raptors beat Utah 123-104, handing the Jazz their seventh straight loss.

Greivis Vasquez and Lou Williams each had 17 for the Raptors, who had six players score in double figures. None had a bigger impact than Lowry, who is averaging 26.3 points in eight road games this season.

Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter scored 19 points apiece for Utah. Gordon Hayward added 16 points and Trey Burke had 15 and eight assists for the Jazz, who trailed through the final three quarters.

Magic 86 Clippers 114

Blake Griffin scored 21 points, Chris Paul had 19 points and 10 assists, and the Clippers routed the undermanned Orlando Magic for their sixth straight victory.

J.J. Redick had 20 points for the two-time defending Pacific Division champions, who have won their last four by an average margin of 21.6 points.

Orlando lost for the sixth time in seven games and committed 17 turnovers, which the Clippers converted into 19 points. Tobias Harris scored 16 for the Magic.
