Miami Heat forward Danny Granger revealed at team media day on Friday that he had knee surgery two months ago.
Granger said that he expects to be ready for the season and looks forward to his role with the Heat.
Granger, 31, was signed by the Heat in July. Team president Pat Riley said Miami was looking for a "proven veteran" with "All-Star experience."
