The Los Angeles Clippers announced Friday that the team has waived guard Jordan Farmar.
Farmar, 28, leaves the Clippers after appearing in 36 games this season with averages of 4.6 points, 1.9 assists and 1.2 rebounds in 14.7 minutes per game.
The Clippers and Farmar, who had a player option for next season, agreed on a buyout Thursday night, which was beneficial to both parties and will save the Clippers money.
