Cavs guards hospitalized with stomach illness

Cleveland guards Dion Waiters and Matthew Dellavedova stayed overnight in New Orleans because of stomach issues after the Cavs lost 119-114 to the Pelicans Friday night.

Waiters left in the first half and did not return because of abdominal pain. He stayed in New Orleans for examination. All tests came back normal, the Cavs say.

Dellavedova became sick and was vomiting after Friday’s game. So he was admitted to Ochsner Medical Center and did not travel home with the team.
