Sixers center Joel Embiid and point forward Ben Simmons will not participate in the summer league, president of basketball operations Bryan Colangelo said Monday.
Embiid is rehabbing a torn meniscus in his left knee that required surgery, while Simmons missed last season because of a Jones fracture in his right foot.
"Things are on course for a healthy return next season. They're not playing in the summer league," Colangelo said of Embiid and Simmons.
