Given the small sample of games remaining and a full slate of summer preparation ahead, Sacramento Kings guard Malachi Richardson will not return this season, the team announced.
He has progressed very well after the hamstring injury in February and will be ready to compete in Summer League and offseason workouts.
The rookie guard averaged 3.6 points and 1.0 rebounds on 10.6 minutes in 22 games for the Kings this season.
