The Houston Rockets have traded K.J. McDaniels to the Brooklyn Nets, according to league sources.
The deal allows Houston to free $3 million in cap space to use on the buyout market.
The Rockets are now $3.3 million below the salary cap with 14 guaranteed contracts.
