The Rockets waived guard Isaiah Taylor Sunday, the team announced.
Taylor (6-3, 170) appeared in three games for the Rockets this preseason.
The Rockets have 18 players on the roster after waiving Taylor. P.J. Hairston, who like Taylor did not travel with the Rockets on the trip to China, is also unlikely to make the final roster.
