Larry Nance Jr. suffers sprained wrist

Los Angeles Lakers forward Larry Nance, Jr., who was injured in the 4th quarter of last night’s 88-80 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Las Vegas Summer League, was examined today in Los Angeles by team physician Dr. Steve Lombardo and hand specialist Dr. Steve Shin of the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic.

Results of the examination and MRI showed a sprained right wrist, but no fracture or ligament damage.

Nance will not play in the Lakers’ final Summer League game tonight, and his status moving forward is day to day.
