Lamar Patterson will continue his career with Sacramento. The guard/forward was claimed by the Kings after he was waived by the Hawks two days ago.
Patterson had a non-guaranteed contract, and the Hawks needed to clear salary-cap space to complete the signings of Dwight Howard and Kris Humphries.
Patterson had been playing in the Las Vegas Summer League with the Hawks.
