Randy Wittman is in his final days as Wizards coach, widely expected to take the fall for Washington's disappointing season and failure to make the playoffs, according to NBA coaching sources.
The Washington Post is also reporting that Wittman is unlikely to return for the 2016-17 campaign.
Wittman has just one year left on his contract at the Wizards' option.
