The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that the team has signed forward Jordan Hamilton to a 10-day contract after receiving a hardship exception from the NBA. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Hamilton, 6-7, 220, most recently played for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA Development League, appearing in 14 games while averaging 14.9 points on .497 shooting from the floor, 9.4 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 29.2 minutes per game.
New Orleans’ roster now stands at 17. Hamilton will wear #25 for the Pelicans.
