The Minnesota Timberwolves Wednesday announced the team has signed forward/center Greg Smith for the remainder of the season. Smith was signed to a 10-day contract on March 2 and a second 10-day contract on March 12.
Smith is averaging 2.3 points and 1.6 rebounds in 10.3 minutes over nine games for the Wolves this season.
Smith, 25, has appeared in 16 games with the Raptors 905 in the NBA D-League this season, averaging 12.4 points, on 51.0% shooting, and 8.3 rebounds in 27.9 minutes per game.
