Clippers rookie forward Branden Dawson was arrested Sunday morning on suspicion of felony spousal abuse at a residence in Playa Vista, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Dawson was detained in lieu of $50,000 bail before being released in the early afternoon.
Dawson would face at least a 10-game suspension and could be ordered to undergo counseling under the NBA's collective bargaining agreement if convicted of a violent felony.
