Thunder acquires Randy Foye in exchange for Augustin, Novak

The Oklahoma City Thunder acquired guard Randy Foye from the Denver Nuggets along with a trade exception in exchange for guard D.J. Augustin, forward Steve Novak, two second-round draft picks and cash considerations, it was announced today by Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti.

Foye (6-4, 213) owns career averages of 11.0 points, 2.9 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 26.6 minutes in 656 games (392 starts) with Minnesota, Washington, L.A. Clippers, Utah and Denver. In 54 games (seven starts) with the Nuggets this season, the Villanova product is averaging 6.0 points, 2.1 assists and 1.9 rebounds.

Augustin appeared in 34 games for the Thunder this season, averaging 4.2 points, 1.9 assists and 1.3 rebounds in 15.3 minutes per game.

Novak saw action in six games for Oklahoma City this year, averaging 2.4 points in 3.5 minutes per contest.
