Indiana's James Blackmon to have surgery on right knee

Indiana sophomore guard James Blackmon Jr., who has missed the past two games, will undergo surgery on his right knee Tuesday afternoon.

The school later announced that Blackmon is expected to miss the rest of the season.

Blackmon, a 6-foot-4 guard from Marion, Indiana, was averaging 15.8 points and 4.2 rebounds this season, and shooting 46.3 percent from 3-point range.
