Al Jefferson scores season-high 31 points

Al Jefferson in the post was the basketball equivalent of a great running game in football in the Hornets road victory over the Dallas Mavericks.

"When you’re ahead late and you can post the ball, it’s a great advantage," Charlotte Hornets coach Steve Clifford said after the game.

Jefferson scored six of his season-high 31 points in the fourth quarter on 3-of-4 shooting.
